Important - New Contract Award Requirement

The UK Government has recently published a Procurement Policy Note (PPN) on the subject of Contracts Finder notices. 

All contracts awarded of a value of £25,000 or higher now require that a Contract Award Notice is posted within 90 days from the date the contract was signed by the final party. This now applies to all contracts, including those which were awarded via a Framework, either by Further Competition or Direct Award. This applies with immediate effect.

You will therefore need to publish a Contract Award Notice for any contracts you let via the National LGPS Frameworks if their value is over £25,000.

These requirements differ for Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Please speak to your procurement or legal team to understand the requirements for these areas.
