Calling-off from the Framework
To call-off from the Transition Management Services Framework, you can run a Further Competition or Direct Award on both Lots.
Further Competition
A Further Competition allows you to assess and evaluate which Provider best meets your individual needs. This process involves establishing an evaluation award criteria, timeframe, and process, along with creating your own Invitation to Further Competition document using the templates provided.
As part of the process of running a Further Competition, you will need to:
- Customise the Specification of Requirements
- Refine the Call-off Terms and Conditions
- Create your Invitation to Further Competition documents
- Invite Providers to bid
- Evaluate Further Competition returns
- Select the winning bid and notify Providers of results
- Hold your standstill period
- Award your contract
- Publish your Contract Award via Contracts Finder
- Notify the National LGPS Frameworks team of your award
Direct Award
You can Direct Award whenever you have a specific, one-off piece of work giving you the flexibility of appointing the most suitable Provider for your requirements. You can use the Provider Catalogues and Pricing Schedules to identify the most suitable Provider for your specific requirements. This can be done under shorter timescales and you can award on the same day if required.
As part of the process of a Direct Award, you will need to:
- Identify and evaluate the most suitable Provider
- Award your contract
- Publish your Contract Award via Contracts Finder
- Notify the National LGPS Frameworks team of your award
Before calling-off from this Framework, you will need to read the Guide to Call-off document. This gives a more detailed guide on how to call-off from this Framework.
