This is the fourth version of the flagship Actuarial, Benefits and Governance Consultancy Services Framework, the first iteration of which was the very first National LGPS Framework launched in 2012. The new Framework will continue to provide LGPS Funds with easy access to high-quality Actuarial services, while also assisting the LGPS in complying with the governance requirements under the Fit for the Future reforms.
The Framework is split into five different Lots:
- Lot 1: Actuarial Services
- Lot 2: Benefits Consultancy
- Lot 3: Governance Consultancy
- Lot 4: Funding Risk Advisory Services
- Lot 5: Consultancy Services to Support Specialist Projects
This Framework is the first National LGPS Framework to be let under the Procurement Act 2023. This new Framework takes advantage of the facility within the new regulations for longer frameworks and so will be open for eight years, expiring in January 2034. Contracts awarded via the Framework can be for up to 10 years.
