Guide to Call-Off - Pension Administration Operations Support Services Framework

This document gives an overview of how to use the Framework along with the stages involved in a Further Competition and Direct Award process.

Lot Structure

This Framework is divided into the following Lots:

  • Lot 1 - Pensions Administration Operational Services
  • Lot 2 - Specialist Pensions Communications and Engagement Services

Full service descriptions for each Lot can be found in the Specification of Requirements. You will need to review and customise the Specification of Requirements to suit your own specific requirements.


Procurement Routes

Under this Framework you have two options:

1. Further Competition (All Lots)

A Further Competition allows you to assess and evaluate which Provider best meets your individual needs. This process involves:

  • Defining your evaluation and award criteria
  • Setting a timeline and process
  • Creating an Invitation to Further Competition document using the templates provided.

2. Direct Award (All Lots)

Direct Award is suitable for specific, one-off requirements. It offers flexibility and speed, allowing you to:

  • Select the most suitable Provider using the Provider Catalogues and Pricing Schedules
  • Award a contract quickly—potentially on the same day
