Calling-off from the Framework

In order to call off from the Pensions Administration Software Framework, you will need to run a Further Competition. There is no option to Direct Award through this Framework.

A Further Competition allows you to assess and evaluate which Provider best meets your individual needs. This process involves establishing an evaluation award criteria, timeframe, and process, along with creating your own Invitation to Further Competition document using the example template provided.

As part of the process of calling-off from the National LGPS Framework for Pensions Administration Software, you will need to:

  • Customise the Specification of Requirements
  • Refine the Call-off Terms and Conditions
  • Create your Invitation to Further Competition documents
  • Invite Providers to bid
  • Evaluate Further Competition returns
  • Select the winning bid and notify Providers of results
  • Hold your standstill period
  • Award your contract
  • Publish your Contract Award via Contracts Finder
  • Notify the National LGPS Frameworks team of your award

Note: This Framework was let under the PCR 2015, and therefore the notice requirements for this set of regulations apply to the Framework, instead of the Procurement Act 2023.
