Market Engagement
We strongly recommend you undertake Market Engagement with the Providers on this Framework prior to beginning your Further Competition. The Providers on the Framework have indicated that they would welcome this opportunity.
Please speak to your procurement team for advice prior to commencing any Market Engagement and your Further Competition.
Understanding the Further Competition process
As part of your preparation, you should consider the following:
- Make sure your Procurement and Legal teams are aware which regulations apply to your call-off. For this Framework, the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 apply to all call-off contracts.
- The expiry date of your current contract
- Termination and exit provisions of your current contract
- Key personnel necessary for the completion of the project
- Performance and quality standards required
- What service level requirements you have
- Any data that you need to make available
- Contract monitoring arrangements
- The contract period you wish to award for - contracts can be awarded under the Framework for an up to a maximum length of ten years from the Further Competition award date
- Confidentiality and commercially sensitive information that may be involved with this contract
- Pricing
- Reviewing the Provider Catalogues to understand each Provider's response to the Specification of Requirements and the M2 and Optional Proposals.
